The ultimate wildlife experience
Mana Pools is situated on the southern bank of the Zambezi River and encompasses 2,196 square kilometres of unspoiled wilderness, commonly called Zimbabwe's Wildlife Riviera because of its abundant wildlife and unique riverfront location. Mana Pools boasts one of the greatest walking safaris in Africa. It’s the only park in Zimbabwe and one of the few in Africa where you can walk among the roaming wildlife. There isn't a river in the world that offers the big game, wilderness location, and adventure that you'll find here at Mana Pools. The best time to visit this park is during the months of March to October. These months offer fantastic weather and game viewing at its best. Come late October/ early November just before the rains come if you want to see massive herds of elephants congregating at the river awaiting the wet season.
Mana Pools is one of the greatest places to enjoy 4x4 safaris, walking safaris and of course canoeing and boating on the Zambezi River. You will come close to grazing buffalo, still crocodiles, wading elephants, hippo, over 380 bird species and more! Let the scenic beauty and breathtaking nature of the Zambezi River and Mana Pools take you away to a place you’ve only dreamed of.
