Best explored on foot
Kafue is the most accessible, yet least visited of the national parks in Zambia and one of the world’s largest at an astounding 22,000 square kilometres. This superb wilderness area boasts massive herds of game, including Africa’s most recognised wildlife species such as lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant.
Kafue offers visitors exceptional walking safaris, the chance to explore the land on foot. Safari drives are fantastic, allowing you to travel further into Kafue amongst its rivers and lakes, home to large groups of hippo and crocodile. This is also a bird lover’s paradise with over 400 species calling Kafue home. Kafue has seen a number of exclusive private luxury lodges and camps develop over the last few years run by some of the best and most experienced names in the safari business.
